Collaborative Family Artwork

Posted on | November 28, 2013

Just learnt about a Dad of two children who has to spend a few hours on a plane to commute to work each month. He passes this time by coloring the drawings that his children give him when he leaves the house. They already look forward to seeing the results when he returns home. After 2 days of uploading the collaborative work (Nov 26), over 216,000 people have seen the online album.

The Reframing Tool from THNK

Posted on | September 5, 2013

Reframing is a key technique used in the curriculum of THNK’s Creative Leadership program. The tool is an easy, four-step process to generate creative approaches for work and even your daily life challenges if I might add.

Here is an example that we created at THNK with the core belief: “Cities need to be governed by people.”

Cowsinjackets (CIJ) goes THNK Amsterdam

Posted on | March 3, 2013

Last week, I was invited to join the THNK community. THNK = the Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership, an 18 month, part-time, post-graduate program with a mission: to develop the next generation of creative leaders that will have a significant societal impact in our world. “Significant societal impact” – big words from the THNK manual but hitting the target when it comes to my personal mission. Do I want to leave a significant fingerprint somewhere? Yes. And if THNK gets me closer in achieving that goal, they’re highly welcome.

There will be participants from all corners of the globe including Tanzania, USA, the Netherlands, India, Sweden, China, Cameroon, France, South Africa, Canada, Italy, Singapore, Colombia and me representing Austria. Smile. The fact that there are no lectures but workshops and dialogues with thought leaders from leading universities and companies is truly thrilling.

I’ll be reporting from Amsterdam as of next week – if you’re interested, stay tuned.
