This year Valentine’s Day was somehow special in Paris. It wasn’t just for those to celebrate who connect the day with romantic love; couples, lovers, people who are fond of someone. It offered very fast support to those who fell in love with someone at first sight. Which can practically happen on every street corner in Paris – as we know. The Flower Council Holland distributed 1500 ‘In Case of Love’ emergency cases carrying a beautiful red rose throughout Paris in crowded, and well-known romantic areas. “In case you meet your love at first sight, it’s easy to make it known. Just break the glass and take the flower. The only thing you have to do yourself is to declare your love.” Cute.

Wet feet with GEOX – not.

The Norwegian Agency SMFB has stunned commuters with a promotion campaign for the clothing brand Geox to advertise for the weatherproof material of their shoes in high streets around Europe. The agency created an artificial rain cloud that hung above weatherproof young gentleman. Some, like the one I ran into in Vienna yesterday, shivered while the rain poured from the cloud but shouted at people: “But my feet are completely dry.” and received pityful grins from those surrounding him.

At the end, we saw handsome young dudes in gorgeous shoes who delivered GEOX’ main campaign value: stay dray whatever the weather. Gorgeous? Well, Geox is …

Visual experience in the shower cabin

Bathrooms with white tiles, white furniture and white towels give me the creeps. Maybe it is some nightmare memory or it simply reminds me of super sterile bathrooms in hospitals. I’m always on the hunt for new inventions in material technology and therefore loved what Unilever Singapore and JWT have created recently with their ambient media campaign for Lux Magic Spell shower gel.
